Altos de Trevejos Winery

Located in the heart of the San Miguel Historic Site, this winery occupies a manor house dating back to 1790. With an 1822 oak wine press, Altos de Trevejos makes wines from pre-phylloxera native varieties, harvested in vineyards located at an altitude of 1,300 metres above sea level. The wines of this winery are a reflection of tradition and modernity.

Vento Winery

Since its creation in 2014, Vento has been committed to a direct relationship with the customer, offering high quality organic wines. Its aged wines, minimally intervened, express the essence of its grapes and terroir.

San Miguel Agricultural Cooperative (LACASMI)

As a pioneer in the Abona Denomination of Origin, LACASMI has been producing high quality wines for more than 30 years. The diversity of its vineyards, which extend from sea level to altitudes of over 1,000 metres, is key to the uniqueness of its wines.

In October and November, this event invites you to discover the exquisite local gastronomy and wines of the region through the Ruta de la Tapa. It is an opportunity to celebrate the culinary expertise of the municipality in a festive atmosphere.

Canary Islands Day

On the 30th of May, San Miguel de Abona dresses up to celebrate its Canarian identity. This day is dedicated to exalting the rich cultural heritage of the Canary Islands, including its music, traditions and, of course, its gastronomy.

Romería in honour of San Miguel Arcángel

Folklore and traditions take to the streets in a colourful pilgrimage that pays homage to the patron saint of the municipality. Between songs, dances and floats, those attending enjoy the festive meat, local wine and papas arrugadas con mojo (potatoes with mojo sauce).
